My schools yearbook uses this and its absolutely amazing!!!

So, your parent company is HP, and your hyped AR app/Paas, crashes on iOS before the logo even finishes playback. #Fail Who QCd this?!

Im a tech teacher and love integrating augmented reality into my class using Aurasma, however the current "upgraded" version keeps crashing on my iPhone 6+. It works in my iPad, thankfully, but I reached out to Aurasma via Twitter about the crashing problem and didnt receive a response. I guess I just have to wait for an update to be released. This is disappointing since this technology has so much potential.

Couldnt use it because it crashes at startup. Tried installing it several times to no avail. Useless.

BYOD leader in my school and its a good thing it was free since it crashes every time I try to open it. Someone didnt do their homework on this one. Deleted from my iPhone, iPad, and off my list of recommended apps.

Crashes on my iPhone 6+, so disappointing.

I work in a middle school library and we use Arazma to get students excited about new books. Used the app all last year with my iPhone 5c and loved it. Have gotten a 6s+ and cant get the app to stay open. Keeps crashing ! Not happy. Very frustrated. Teachers are also having a hard time this year accessing my channel this year. Cant figured out why. So I made it public. Still getting the same error message. Cant figure out whats happening. Error 404.

I wrote the company and they told me the issue. Heres the fix for the app crashing with the newer iPhones...We believe this to be an issue with a setting called “Display Zoom”. The workaround is for the user to set display zoom view to standard PRIOR to launching Aurasma. Go to SETTINGS > DISPLAY & BRIGHTNESS > and set Display Zoom: View = Standard. It works again!!! Try it!!

This works really well. I have used it a few times. The students enjoy it. I just wish the person did not have to sign in to use. Just scan with the app and go!!

The guides online also make it easy to upload your own 3D models to be used as overlays in the program

Since HP acquired Aurasma they have decided to totally destroy the user interface. It is now possible to get stuck on a subset area with no visible way to get back to a camera view, or even the previous area. Swiping left right or up and down did not work either. Bring back the "A" logo at the bottom of the screen to gain access to a consistent menu on all screens. It also appears that HP has decided to move the UI from a viewer of auras perspective, to a creator of auras. Really? This is a poor decision. Many many more users will just want to test their Auras with the mobile app, or view Auras created by others, as in a museum setting for example. Please have the app default to the camera view when launched as before, or at the very least, ask the user, do you want to make an Aura, or view an Aura?

I use Aurasma in camps, my classes, and creating my personal cards and gifts for my family. Its simple fast and free. Does it get any better?

An update to the UI was needed, and in the most recent update they knocked it out of the park. The flow is so much better. Really fun app!
